Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 June 2026

Tail Twin is designed to be private by default. There are no accounts, no advertising, no tracking, and no sale of data — ever. This page explains exactly what data the app touches and where it goes.

Data that stays on your device

Almost everything. Your dog's profile and onboarding answers, care history, daily goals, streaks, memories, scrapbook entries, adventures, and reminder preferences are stored only in the app's local storage on your phone. They are never uploaded to us. Deleting the app (or using Settings → Start over) removes this data.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, an anonymous crash report (the technical error, app version, device model, and OS version) is sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting service, so we can find and fix the bug. Crash reports contain no names, photos, answers, or anything from your dog's profile, and are not linked to your identity.

Analytics

The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Its internal event log is sanitized to exclude names, free-text answers, photos, and identifiers, and is not transmitted off your device.

Notifications

Daily reminders and gentle nudges are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a push notification server and cannot send you messages remotely.

Children

Tail Twin is rated 4+ and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
